Nicaragua American Cigars, SA (NACSA)

Was established on February 19, 1996, was founded by Mr. Juan Francisco Bermejo, in the city of Esteli. Currently NCSA´s production of cigars is of about 25, 000,000 units, of which 95% is exported to the United States of America and the rest to European Countries.

The blends are made with Habano Tobacco that are grown and processed in Nicaragua (in the valleys of Esteli, Condega and Jalapa) with the one that come from the Dominican Republic and with the wrappers that have their origin in Ecuador.

The tobaccos used as fillers, binders and wrapper have a process of fermentation of twelve months and aging for two years.
The cigars are stored for ten weeks in cold rooms in order that these reach the proper moisture content for packaging and that it acquires smooth conditions for a good smoke.

Among the brands that are produced and have a position in the market are: DaVinci, Frank Llaneza, Hugo Cassar, Jose Marti, JR Edicion Limitada, JR Alternative, Juan Lopez, La Finca, Lew Smoker, Nat Sherman, Omar Ortez Original, Perfecto Garcia , Remedios, Riata, Savinelli, Siglo, Troya, All Americas, Bock and Ca, Carribean Rounds, Cuban Castaways, Cuban Reject, Mr. B, Rosa Cuba, Savoy, Trinidad y Cia and Torcedor.

The manufacture of cigars, the quality control, aging and packaging of these is in charge of 1,050 workers who work with the objective of obtaining high quality cigars which will guarantee the consistence of the product and a privileged position in the market.
